I’ve been setting up my procedures and picking a theme for my classroom. I suppose I am one of those types. Officially, I am listed as an LD/CD (Learning Disability/Communication Disability) teacher. Because of that, I will be using a lot of visual and auditory aids to engage my students. I have about a week’s worth of “Welcome to the District” meetings at the beginning of August.
